Factory-Set Performance Data (Performance Memories)
When the DX11 was shipped, it came with 32 pre-set performance memories. These data were stored (only) in RAM and would get lost if they were overwritten or if the built-in battery became low and had to be replaced.
Here are the complete data of the performance memories #01 to #32 (converted to text form from downloaded MIDI sysex files).
Factory Presets: Effects Data, Micro-Tuning Scales, Program-Change Table
Some of the 32 performances mentioned above use certain effects (delay, pan, chord) and/or micro-tuning scales, that came with the DX11 when it was shipped. These data were stored (only) in RAM and would get lost if they were overwritten or if the built-in battery became low and had to be replaced.
Here is an attempt to provide the original presets for effects, micro tuning, and for the program-change table (converted to text form from downloaded MIDI sysex files).
OSC Frequency Ratios
You may have wondered how the strange-looking oscillator frequency ratios (which can be chosen using the “frequency coarse” and “frequency fine” settings) are defined.
It’s actually all explicable with a (more or less) simple algorithm, which is described here.
